Paddington
This project involved the demolition and propping of the ground floor
internal and external walls. Open plan living was greatly achieved by
the expansion of the ground floor footprint. Structural steel beams
were applied to achieve this.
Installation of a new kitchen and glass roof was used to achieve maximum natural light.
New internal wall and ceiling linings made the space even brighter and
new bifold doors at the rear provided a seamless transition into the
back courtyard.
The new polished concrete bench top was poured and finished in
conjunction with the floor to achieve a consistent contrast. It was a
rewarding project achieving a modern finish without losing the heritage
charm of this Paddington terrace.
