Newtown
This
project was a complete renovation of a Victorian terrace and involved
the extension of the ground floor, first floor addition and attic
conversion.
Bellevue Building’s contract involved the
installation of the structural floors, wall framing, internal wall
linings, external cladding, metal roofing, external timber decking,
internal joinery, flooring and fit out.
The extension of the ground floor provided room for the kitchen.
The first floor addition provided an extra bedroom and the attic
conversion in the existing roof space provided a master bedroom with an
ensuite.
Situated on a tight suburban block, space was an absolute premium in
this Victorian terrace, hence custom joinery was constructed on site
throughout the home to provide as much storage space as physically
possible.
Through the removal of only two walls, open plan living was achieved
throughout the whole ground floor and further extended with a new
external deck off the kitchen.
