This 100m2 first floor addition was undertaken whilst the client was living at home, and so to speed up the process with minimal inconvenience to the owners, pre fab frames and trusses were the choice of construction.
The contract involved the structural floor, installation of frames and trusses, blueboard cladding, installation of fascia and eaves sheets and the installation of the windows with customized trimming.
It was a challenging project tieing in with the existing ground floor footprint of the federation style dwelling, and in the end provided an additional 4 bedrooms and a bathroom.
With the conventional styled roof and federation style windows the addition proved to be a true compliment to the home.
